Hey Shingle People! Happy New Year! I hope you all are having a great New Year already.
I love the New Year, I’m one of those people who look forward to a fresh start every year. This year, I have set some very high goals for myself and for the podcast. One of the hardest things about being a solo entrepreneur, is that it’s difficult to hold yourself accountable; there’s no one to answer to. So this year, I plan to share my goals with you so that I can be accountable. I also want to participate in this new journey of sharing my experience and also learning from others who have traveled this road and have been successful (or not successful, just as important).
OKAY!!!! So I’m really excited about this latest episode. I’m joined by Vashti Patrick-Joseph of the Lifestyle award-winning blog, VeePeeJay and the creator of the inspiration apparel brand Ven and Rose. Vashti and I share tips about how to be strategic about choosing conference, connecting with key people, and maximizing your conference-going experience.
We also talked about how she started her blog and how she grew it into a multi-stream business, including how she landed her apparel brand in a Creme of Nature campaign.
According to Vashti, “THERE”S NO SHAKE AND BAKE” when it comes to growing a blog. It takes long and hard work and lots and lots of patience.
Tune in and listen to how she did it.
I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
